Due Dates
Tuition and fees are due on the first day of each term.
Check for other important due dates.
Late Fees
Balances not paid by the due date are considered past due and are assessed a late charge of 1.5% per month, unless there is a payment plan in place. Late balances on payment plans are subject to a late fee of $10 after a 15-day grace period. Review all fees and charges.

Payment Methods
Kalamazoo College provides options for students and authorized users to pay online, in person, by mail, and by international bank transfer.
Kalamazoo College does not accept student account payments over the phone.

- Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Cards are accepted – There is a 2.99% convenience fee/$3 minimum for domestic credit card payments and a 4.25% fee for international credit card payments

529 Savings Programs
Kalamazoo College uses Backpack to receive 529 payments electronically. This platform is free to use. Payments are directly integrated with the Kalamazoo College Payment Center and the Student Accounts Office, so we’re notified the moment your transfer is initiated.
When families request payments through a 529 plan’s website, the funds are typically mailed as paper checks to the school. To avoid any issues, such as delays or errors, we ask that all families using a 529 plan use Backpack to submit their tuition payment electronically.

International Bank/Wire Transfer
International students who wish to avoid credit card surcharges have the option of using bank/wire transfer and paying in their home currency. Learn more about international wire transfer options.
Pay in person:
- Hours of Availability: The cashier is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Location: Business Office in Mandelle, Room 201.
- Accepted forms of payment: Cash, Checks, or Credit Cards (with a 2.99% fee/$3 minimum). We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, and AMEX.
